Versatile, single seat, electric buggy, ideal for all industrial applications

UPD (Marketing), of Henley on Thames, Oxfordshire, are pleased to announce the "Site Cruiser".

The original concept of the "Site Cruiser" came from the tried and tested design of the Golf Cruiser plus, one of the few successful and reliable single seat golf buggies on the market.

The unit has proper suspension and a sprung seat. Power is provided by a 1000 watt electric motor that allows excellent gradient performance and speeds of up to 10 mph. Being electric, there are no emissions or engine noise and the unit will run for 20 miles between charges. The battery charger is fully automatic, so the unit may be safely left on charge when not in use, without fear of cooking the batteries. "Site Cruiser" comes with puncture resistant tyres and requires virtually no maintenance.

At a cost of a little over £1,100, the Site Cruiser offers very low cost flexibility and ease of getting around large factory, warehouse and open sites. The unit is compact enough to operate in statutory lined walkways within industrial buildings and robust enough to travel outside on most surfaces, certainly any surface that would accommodate a car, van or truck.

Overnight security guards faced with regular site patrols several times during the night will find the Site Cruiser a real benefit. Management and other staff requiring to travel within extensive industrial areas, inside and out, will also benefit from the ease and speed with which Site Cruiser will get them around.

A typical application
AYS Removals-Storage and Transport Ltd, of Reading, have a huge site, 1000's of square feet of warehousing and several acres of yard space.

The Site Cruiser is the perfect answer to swift site inspections and checking every corner of the warehouse, the time saved can be put to better and more productive use.

Inside, or out, the Site Cruiser will transport personnel swiftly, safety, quietly and at virtually no cost.

Alan Nelhams, a director of AYS is delighted with the Site Cruiser; Alan, a keen golfer was first introduced to the Site Cruiser as a single seat electric golf buggy, but soon recognised the benefits and potential of having such an adaptable single seat vehicle available within his industrial complex.

To cover one end of the yard to the other, is a marathon and the warehouse is so big that walking round can take forever. The Site Cruiser is popular with the warehouse team and has run faultlessly to date.

In summing up, Mr Nelhams and his team feel the investment was very worthwhile, within the bigger picture regarding the cost's associated with transport and storage, £1,100 is a round of drinks for such a useful little tool.

Prior to the Site Cruiser being available, it was not uncommon for any of the warehouse team to jump on a fork truck to travel to the far reaches of the warehouse or yard. Taking a fork truck out of service, or simply using it as a means of transport is not at all cost effective.

Alan is of the opinion that the Site Cruiser could prove just as popular in commercial applications as on the golf course. He may be proved right.
