New contract puts IPP Logipal in pole position

IPP Logipal, the fast growing FMCG pallet rental provider, has announced it is distributing Polish food to the UK retail market for Polish Specialities Ltd after being awarded a new contract.

Distributors of traditional Polish food, Polish Specialities is supplying nearly 2,000 lines of high quality food to hundreds of convenience stores and major supermarkets across the UK.

The wide range of natural and healthy goods includes juices, sausages, dairy products, sweets and pickles.
IPP Logipal pallets will be used to deliver products to Sainsbury's, Morrisons, Booker, Budgens and Londis stores nationwide as part of the new deal.

The one-way trip service produces a cost effective solution and includes quality control checks matched to KPI (key performance indicator) criteria.

"Demand for our unique food products is increasing rapidly and we are quickly gaining a reputation as the most professional Polish food supplier in the UK," says Magda Harvey, director at Polish Specialities.

"We wanted to ensure distribution of our goods was also carried out at the highest of standards."

She added: "IPP Logipal is a very well respected name across Europe and we had no hesitation in switching our pallet provider. It provides us with a cost effective and high level of service in comparison with our previous arrangement."

With a high population of Poles living in London, Polish Specialities has opened its own stores in the South and West areas of the capital.

Not limited to just Polish people, the food is proving popular amongst all nationalities living in the UK, which is driving volumes up. As a result the contract is expected to expand over the coming months.
