MOFFETT is a trolley good idea for Rocklyn

Traditionally, Rocklyn delivered trolleys (rolled onto lorries and stacked in triple decks) and other equipment to site using forklifts. These were carried on trailers towed by its fleet of trucks. As well as being cumbersome, the forklifts could only be used on tarmac surfaces - greatly limiting their ease of use.

The Moffett M5 solves all these problems, by attaching directly to the delivery trucks for simple, efficient transport. Being instantly demountable, it is ready for action in just 60 seconds.

Managing Director Leslie Millar said: "I've known MOFFETT for a long time as the world leader in Truck-mounted Forklifts. Since the arrival of our M5, we have been unbelievably successful with all the deliveries and installations on our books.

"We use it for loading the vehicle and offloading on site - all of which can now be done very quickly in the retailer's car park, so we don't get in anyone's way. We are in and out, job done.

MOFFETT's M5, available in four different versions, is one of the most popular of the new generation of Truck-mounted Forklifts produced by MOFFETT.

It is also available with MOFFETT's patented Lift Assist and one sided off-loading package, a combination which enables one man and one machine to load and unload from just one side of the truck or trailer. This minimises time on site and enhances productivity.

Driver comfort has been increased with a new ergonomically designed seat and a wider operator enclosure that ensures maximum visibility.
