Culina Logistics launches brand new livery

Culina Logistics Ltd, the multi-temperature food and drink supply chain specialist, has introduced a new corporate livery following the merger of the Baylis Logistics and Culina Logistics operations at the start of 2008.

The bold new design is initially featured on the company's chilled trucks and trailers operating throughout the UK. It will be rolled out across the entire fleet as new vehicles are commissioned.

Culina operates a fleet of 250 trucks and 550 trailers that deliver over 390 million cases of product per annum as they supply leading retailers with a wide range of major food and drink goods.

Providing both ambient and chilled storage and distribution services from eight strategically located sites across the UK, the company ensures retailer's shelves are kept stocked with key brands with deliveries to over 3,900 drop points.

"The bold new livery is a statement of intent," says chief executive officer, Thomas van Mourik. "It reflects our clear goal to provide high quality logistics solutions and firmly establish Culina as the premier food and drink supply chain specialist."

Culina is also investing in a ninth major distribution centre at Haverhill, on the Suffolk and Essex border, that is scheduled to open in mid-2008.

The new 190,000 sq ft (17,651 sq m) facility is strategically located to meet organic growth from customers and target new business from both the UK and Europe.
