Nene's Rentarack provides TVS CJ Components with cash flow benefits

When massive expansion necessitated TVS CJ Components moving its warehousing operation into a new facility in Daventry, ten times larger than the company's previous warehouse complex, TVS CJ Components decided that The Nene Group's Rentarack rack rental scheme provided it with the best financial and strategic options. Rentarack has released TVS CJ Components from having to fund the capital needed to rack the new site and has negated having a variable depreciating asset on its books.

Established in 1989 and part of the TVS Group since 2005, one of India's largest industrial conglomerates and the largest automobile distribution company in India, TVS CJ Components is leading global sourcing, logistics and end-to-end solutions provider to a number of major UK vehicle and engine manufacturers. In depth consultation with TVS C J Component's management enabled the Nene team to create the optimum solution to make maximum use of the building height with the layout designed to accommodate reach trucks. As TVS C J Components have to store pallets of varying sizes and shapes, Nene fitted the racking with Wire Mesh Decks. In addition to being able to accommodate the diverse range of pallets, the Wire Mesh Decks also provide additional safety in the event of a fire by allowing the smoke to rise directly to the sensors, which quickly activates the sprinklers thereby allowing water to progress unhindered to the source of the fire.

Therefore, TVS C J Components wanted the flexibility to change and adapt its racking system to new surroundings as it expanded. Rentarack enables companies to lease all types of racking and shelving, including specialist racking such as live and drive in storage. Companies can lease racking for any size of facility and for any period of time from two weeks to 10 years.
