CFS UK Logistics makes its booking service easier, faster, greener

Cranleigh Freight Services has introduced a new, automated IT system in order to streamline its booking system, thereby increasing customer service and reducing paper usage in line with its 2008 Environmental and Sustainability Policy.

CFS clients can now send in their pallet orders in paperless fashion via email, using the new file template. The information is then automatically uplifted into the CFS system, and the sender will receive a receipt email containing additional information, including their unique pallet reference, enabling the client to track their order online at any time via the CFS Track and Trace facility.

This system allows clients the choice to initiate and monitor the whole process online; however, the CFS UK team are on hand for a more personal service.

CFS's new system makes placing bookings easier, faster and greener, giving clients more time to concentrate on their core business activities.
