Access Group has announced it has set up a new Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) division to gain further market penetration with its integrated product suite for the manufacturing, warehouse management, wholesale and logistics sectors. The business software provider has seen its SCS customer base increase by 12.6% within the past 12 months.

chazIan Roper has been appointed as divisional director for SCS. He commented, “Access has a very solid proposition within the supply chain arena, which has been further strengthened by the acquisition of Access Delta last year. The combined WMS and manufacturing solution is enabling our new and existing customers to leverage any investment made in our solutions; we’re dedicated to concentrating our efforts in this space with further strategic acquisitions in the pipeline.”

Access Group, which has a significant number of wholesale, distribution, manufacturing and 3PLs amongst its extensive customer base, has a long history of serving this sector.

“Customers are looking for an integrated, end-to-end ERP solution that includes finance, manufacturing and warehouse management. We are specialists in these areas and have an intricate understanding of how businesses can capitalise on their investment in the Access SCS software suite to deliver efficiencies, growth and increase profitability.

“Integration is one of our core areas of expertise; it’s something we know we do well, allowing businesses full, real-time visibility across all of their operations. This sets us apart from our competition,” said Ian, who brings with him a wealth of experience across the supply chain sector.

Access is developing the SCS divisional team to ensure that it continually adds the expertise to support its growing client base. Ian commented, “One of our key strengths is our people; we only select the highest calibre of talent to help implement our solutions, add value from day one and support our customers to deliver on their growth aspirations.”

Ian will also be responsible for the steering the product roadmap and is looking to get customers involved in the software development process.
“We’re going to be working even closer with our customers to make sure that we continue to provide solutions that are the best fit for the market now and in the future. We believe there’s strength in collaboration with our clients to ensure that forthcoming business requirements are built into our solution ahead of market demand. The new division marks our commitment to serving this sector with the strongest proposition in the marketplace.”
