Nowadays, reliable, high-quality and cost-effective high-tech solutions are a prerequisite for smooth-running maritime traffic, shipping lines, ports, transport and logistics. Together with its partner Luceor, Advantech-DLoG presented innovative solutions for container logistics at TOC Europe held in the port of Rotterdam from June 25-27, 2013.

“The event was a great opportunity to showcase our wide range of rugged and fully rugged vehicle mount terminals for port applications,” says Didier Cousin, Director Channel Europe at Advantech-DLoG. “We were happy to welcome many trade visitors at our booth. Both prospective clients and partners showed considerable interest in our products and services, and we enjoyed learning about their specific projects and requirements. This made TOC a very valuable experience for us.”

Advantech-DLoG’s certified computer solutions are already used in 50 ports all over the world. They can be installed, for example, in dockside gantry and container cranes, straddle loaders, automated guided vehicles (AGV), yard trucks etc.

The product range covers video surveillance, management and tracking of container chassis or tractor management. Specially developed antennas that are available in different versions allow long-range wireless networks like WLAN, WWAN and GPS. Vehicle computers with voice control complement the solutions for industrial automation in a port environment. The industrial PCs are mainly used to manage terminal operations – supported by the terminal operating systems (TOS).
