In a time when it seems no one stays in a job for more than a couple of years, maintenance foreman Trevor Lambeth of Fordhouses is celebrating 40 years of working for Park Lane firm ACS&T Logistics.

Trevor-Lambeth-ACS&TTrevor (58) began working for the temperature controlled transport and storage specialists as a 19-year-old in 1973, and since then has progressed from assisting with truck repairs and loading and offloading, to engineering. He took up his current position as maintenance foreman, in 2001.

He said: “I’m very happy and content at ACS&T, I love my job and I certainly have no plans to leave just yet!

“I have many happy memories of my time with the company. I met my wife at ACS&T in 1976, and although she left in 1988, we are still happily married with two sons that are in the army.”

Managing director of ACS&T Malcolm Johnstone congratulated Trevor on reaching such a significant milestone in his career.
