Fronius UK’s Battery Charging Division presented the Selectiva range of battery charging systems for intralogistics at IMHX 2013. The team were showing off the new 8 and 16 KW additions to the Selectiva range with its unique Ri-Charging process. This completely new technical approach allows the charge level of the battery to be permanently measured. The charger software uses this information to adjust the individual charging phases as required.

The new generation of Selectiva devices boast many enhancements that include increased charging efficiency and less battery warming during charging. Mains voltage monitoring, safety cut-out, de-energised charging plugs, external start-stop, time delayed end of charging and a collective fault display round of the new safety features. The new devices also have a modern USB interface for system monitoring and easy software update installation. Also on display were the 1 KW and 3 KW Selectiva models along with the Acctiva Professional 35A – The intelligent car battery charging system with automatic charging, for vehicle technicians.

The Fronius Team were delighted to be able to present Fronius’ Sales Partners IBCS (Industrial Batteries and Charger Services) and Powercell (Industrial Battery Engineers Ltd) with their Official Partner Certificates at the show – both had a presence at IMHX with stands close by. Both Powercell and IBCS provide the Fronius Selectiva range of forklift battery chargers. All Fronius Sales Partners are experts in batteries and charging systems for intralogistics and their details can be found at www.fronius.co.uk
