We manufacture upto 100000 units per year, and are the preferred supplier to a number of large retailers and Logistics companies.

What brought you to this industry?
I left the military looking for work and here I am 26 years later!
What’s the most exciting thing about your job?
The opportunities are the things that excite me the most, and the potential to realise them!
Who inspired you most in your career?
My old boss, he was a tyrant, but hard working and passionate about his team. He lead by example, and I try to do the same.
If you were an item in a warehouse, what would you be?
A fork lift truck, always on the move, and working at all levels of the business.
If you had to do it all over again, what would you do different?
I would continue with my degree, and specialise in Anthropology, as I love people watching.
What’s the most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to you at work?
I fell off a dock leveller once while giving a site tour to a customer, ouch!
Who or what makes you laugh?
Slapstick… Laurel and Hardy, good writing Ricky Gervais / Father Ted.
Do you have any hidden talents?
No not really… as a Marketing & Development Director I try not to hide them!
Who would be your favourite party guest?
Ozzy Ozbourne and Lee Evans.
What is the greatest luxury in your life?
My boots, they take me wherever I want to go.
What is your favourite guilty pleasure?
A drop of Guinness.
Do you have any secret ambitions?
To climb Mount Everest… but its no secret I’m afraid.
What’s your dream holiday destination?
The Himalayas or Antartica.
What are your three favourite movies of all time?
One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest, Dumb and Dumber and Me Myself and Irene.
What is your favourite book of all time?
Touching the Void.
What’s your favourite pastime?
Mountaineering.
If you won the Lottery, what would you do?
A round the world trip, and charity.
What would be your advice to someone thinking about coming into the industry (apart from “don’t do it”)?
Work hard and be safe, also be honest and honourable, its a valuable commodity.
