One of the UK’s leading materials handling and forklift attachment firms is gearing up for another exceptionally busy winter helping clients tackle snow and freezing weather.
Contact Attachments, based in Newtown, Mid Wales has been manufacturing high quality forklift mounted snow ploughs for more than 30 years, for clients spanning sectors as diverse as football clubs and councils, to pharmaceuticals and food manufacturers.
The firm manufactures a diverse range of snow ploughs with various specifications including a Fixed Blade plough, that is angled to clear snow to the left, an Adjustable Blade plough to sweep both left, right and straight ahead, and a Sprung Loaded plough, which is fully adjustable to avoid blade damage from objects such a manhole covers. The steel ploughs come in various widths, ranging from 1220mm to 2130mm, and there is also an optional rubber blade that can be inserted to minimise wear and tear.
