Advanced Handling can offer intelligent material handling solutions ranging from standard products such as pallet trucks and their extensive range of static and mobile scissor lift tables in a variety of specifications, right the way through to bespoke solutions which are all designed and manufactured by their own in-house teams.

What brought you to this industry?
It wasn’t something that I’d always aspired to do but I just fell into it by chance as Linde had a role that I applied for and was successful.
What’s the most exciting thing about your job?
That every day is different.
Who inspired you most in your career?
Too many to mention – I try to learn something from everyone I meet.
If you were an item in a warehouse, what would you be?
Scissor Lift as they’re very exciting pieces of equipment!
If you had to do it all over again, what would you do different?
Change companies more frequently.
What’s the most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to you at work?
Dropping a large container of tomato cooking sauce in a customer’s reception so it ended up looking like a scene from the Texas Chain Saw Massacre.
Who or what makes you laugh?
I enjoy comedy of all types but to name a few Lee Mack, James Corden and Alan Carr.
Do you have any hidden talents?
Not that I want to talk about publicly.
Who would be your favourite party guest?
I think James Corden would be really interesting and entertaining.
What is the greatest luxury in your life?
Good holidays.
What is your favourite guilty pleasure?
Expensive Brandy at Xmas.
Do you have any secret ambitions?
I don’t really have secrets, ambitions or otherwise…
What’s your dream holiday destination?
Hawaii.
What are your three favourite movies of all time?
Die Hard, Shawshank Redemption and Some Like It Hot.
What is your favourite book of all time?
The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy – Douglas Adams.
What’s your favourite pastime?
Spending time with my family.
