Motherwell-based Dieselink is moving into larger offices to accommodate continuing growth, with a special offer for its new neighbours. Its fuel cards will be free to any Strathclyde Business Park firm opening an account before the end of 2012. Dieselink’s range of fuel cards are normally £12 each and enable fixed price refuelling at, typically, 4p per litre below pump prices.
The 18 personnel who moved from Orbiston Street to Bellshill in July will have at least six new colleagues by the end of September. Dieselink plans further growth next year. Claire Peacock, general manager, said, “Moving less than five miles to Strathclyde Business Park offers a successful company like Dieselink a world of new opportunities, while allowing us to retain all the accumulated expertise of our dedicated team.”
The company investigated several Motherwell and Hamilton sites before choosing its new home. “The communications and facilities are excellent,” said Claire Peacock, “from the shuttle bus to the gym and restaurants. It is a lovely area and we are already finding that we have great neighbours.”
Dieselink, which now obtains stationery, ink cartridges and other supplies from Park-based companies, is celebrating its move by offering new neighbours a special deal. This is open to any business with premises at either Strathclyde Business Park or its sister site, Hamilton International Park.
Claire Peacock said, “Saving £12 per vehicle immediately and then paying less for fuel is just the start. A single weekly VAT-compliant invoice for all refuelling is paid automatically by direct debit, so firms refuel now and pay later, with no interest charge for the credit. They can expect to pay up to 4p per litre less than it says on the pump, up to 10p a litre less if they’re refuelling on the motorway.”
The range of fuel cards offered by Dieselink can be used at around 7,000 BP, Co-Op, Emo, Esso, Gulf, Morrisons, Moto, Murco, Pace, Shell, Texaco, Diesel Direct and UK Fuels filling stations. Both diesel and petrol can be covered, with additional services including a named account manager and free 24/7 online account management system provided as standard.
