IMHX 2013 is fast approaching and Transmon Engineering is gearing up to show off a new range of products at the International Materials Handling Exhibition, on stand number 19J115, in hall 19 of Birmingham’s NEC, from 19-22 March 2013.

Visitors to Transmon’s stand will be able to see products from Transmon’s new iTEch range, as well as speak to a specialist about ways Transmon can help materials handling operations to reduce costs, enhance efficiency and improve safety.

Transmon designs, manufactures and installs electronic systems that help enhance materials handling operations by improving onsite safety, enhancing overall efficiency or reducing the operational carbon footprint. The new iTEch range can be fitted to any make of forklift truck.

The new iTEch product range from Transmon, first released in 2012, includes the iTEch PAS (Pedestrian Alert System) and the iTEch TDS601 LCD WiFi (fleet management system).

Transmon’s iTEch PAS utilises RFID technology to help reduce the number of accidents involving pedestrians and forklift trucks, by detecting the presence of a pedestrian, via an RFID active tag, worn by workers onsite at all times.

The new iTEch TDS601 LCD WiFi fleet management system from Transmon offers an integrated daily checks feature that disables the engine ignition until every question has been answered by the operator. A daily check system this detailed is not commonly implemented in forklift fleet management systems.

Our specialists will offer visitors to IMHX simple advice about reducing operational costs, heightening safety and enhancing efficiency says Paul. Transmon provides solutions to a variety of operations, from everyday pallet handling and transportation applications to more specialist applications including cold store and high racking.

The International Materials Handling Exhibition (IMHX) is firmly established as the UK’s premier intralogistics event. Jointly owned by Informa Exhibitions Ltd and BITA (British Industrial Truck Association), IMHX 2013 will be held at The NEC, Birmingham, March 19th – 22nd 2013.
