Since formation in 1972 as the Fork Truck Hire Association and more recently, the Fork Lift Truck Association, FLTA, has become the most representative body of its kind in Europe. Its sole aim is to maintain and raise standards in the materials handling industry and, in doing so, help to protect the interests of consumers by enhancing both safety and productivity in the workplace.
